1st A350 for ITA Airways painted
ITA Airways has released footage of its first A350 in the paintshop, receiving the airline's distinctive blue livery. The aircraft in question is currently registered F-WZFT (270), which was originally destined to go to Hong Kong Airlines as B-LGJ. Once delivered to Italy, it will be registered EI-IFB and used intially on the route Rome-Buenos Aires from June onwards.
The Italian airline is leasing the aircraft from Air Lease Corporation and more A350s will also be sourced through the lessor. The A350s are part of the airline's fleet renewal plans, which will also features A220s, A320neos, A321neos and A330-900s.
