On 25 September, the first Airbus A350-900 for Emirates took to the skies for the very first time. The aircraft is currently registered F-WZGA (684) but will become A6-EXA once delivered in October 2024.
The aircraft is the first of 65 A350-900s the airline has on order. It plans to have taken delivery of ten of them by March next year. The first destinations Emirates will use the type to will be Ahmedabad, Bahrain, Bologna, Colombo, Edinburgh, Kuwait, Lyon, Mumbai and Muscat.
