777 Partners orders more MAXs
Private equity firm 777 Partners has ordered 30 additional B737MAXs with Boeing. Although the exact breakdown of types is unknown, the order includes the B737-8200, the high-capacity version of the B737-8. With this latest order, 777 Partners has now ordered 68 MAXs.
777 Partners holds stakes in low-cost airline Flair from Canada and is also one of the investment partners for the recently launched new Australian airline Bonza. The firm is also an investment partner for the Value Alliance, which is an alliance of low-cost airlines in Asia, consisting of Cebu Pacific, Jeju Air, Nok Air, Peach Air and Scoot.
