Aerolineas Argentinas secures leases for E195-E2s

Various media like Reuters and Flight Global are reporting that Aerolineas Argentinas has secured lease-agreements for new Embraer E195-E2s. In total, the airline is set to take delivery of twelve new Embraers. Two are scheduled for delivery in 2024, five in 2025, and five in 2026. The name of the lessor hasn't been disclosed yet.

Back in February 2023, Scramble reported that Aerolineas Argentinas was set to bring the E195-E2 on board. The airline will use the aircraft to start the replacement of its 26 ERJ190s.

Next to its ERJ190s, the Aerolineas Argentinas-fleet consists of ten Airbus A330-200s, eight Boeing B737-700s, 31 B737-800s, and nine B737-8s.
