Air France-KLM shops at Airbus

Air France-KLM announced a firm order for 100 A320neo-family aircraft for KLM, Transavia and Transavia France. The deal also includes options for sixty additional A320neo-family aircraft. The airline group also signed a Letter of Intent for four A350Fs, which could also be swapped to passenger A350s if needed.

The narrowbody order by Air France-KLM for the A320neo-family marks another loss for Boeing, which also lost the tender for the replacement of B717s and B737-800s with Qantas, to Airbus.

Air France-KLM expects to take delivery of its first new A320neo-family aircraft in the second half of 2023.
