Air Belgium to add 4 dedicated freighters
Air Belgium has announced it will enter into the cargo carrying business and will acquire four dedicated freighters. The aircraft, presumably A330Fs, will be based at Liege. The first two are expected to arrive in March, the other two later this year.
In its press-release the airline clearly states that the offering of cargo-flights is an expansion of their services and they will also continue to fly passenger-flights. Air Belgium, which was founded in 2016, has a fleet of four A340-300s. OO-ABA (835) and OO-ABB (844) are currently flying, while OO-ABD (921) is parked at Tarbes-Lourdes and OO-ABE (938) is parked at Amman.
