Air Inuit to replace B737-200s
On 3 July 2023, Air Inuit announced it will replace its venerable Boeing B737-200s with newer B737-800s. In the coming 24 months, the airline will introduce three B737-800s, which will be configured as combi's, featuring a cargo section at the front of the aircraft.
Air Inuit is operating four B737-200s, which are also configured as combi-aircraft. On average, the fleet is almost 44 years old and are flying daily out of its base at Montréal-Trudeau International.
The airline, which will celebrate its 45th birthday this year, is also flying with a single B737-300C, three DHC-100s, twelve DHC-8-300s, seven DHC-6-300s, four Beech 350s, three Beech A100s, and a DHC-3.
