Air Tanzania welcomes B767-300F

On 3 June 2023, Air Tanzania took delivery of its first dedicated freighter aircraft, Boeing B767-300F 5H-TCO (67788). The freighter was ferried from Everett-Paine Field (WA) to Tanzania via Casablanca over the course of 1 June - 3 June 2023.

Air Tanzania ordered the single freighter in November 2021 and is planning to fly it between Dar-es-Salaam to Dubai, Guangzhou, Harare, Johannesburg, Kinshasa, Lagos, Mumbai, and Nairobi.

The B767-300F joins a fleet which further consists of three Airbus A220-300s, two B787-8s, and five DHC-8-400s. Next to this, the airline has open orders for one more B787-8 and two B737MAXs.
