airBaltic celebrates 50th A220 with special livery

airBaltic will soon take delivery of its 50th Airbus A220-300. To commemorate the moment, the airline has unveiled a new special livery for the aircraft which is based on Latvian heritage.

The A220 is already painted and almost ready for delivery. It's currently still registered as C-FPBZ (55329) but will become YL-ABX once delivered.

airBaltic took delivery of its first A220-300 in November 2016 (although back then it was still called the Bombardier CS300). After it takes delivery of number 50, the airline has 40 remaining on firm order.
