All Nippon to add more special liveries
All Nippon Airways remains being fan of special liveries. Earlier this month, the airline unveiled a new Pokémon-Dreamliner, and now ANA has announced it will apply special decals and liveries on three DHC-8-400s, and a B777-300ER.
The three DHC-8-400s, JA844A (4091), JA846A (4097), and JA850A (4108), will get special designed stickers on both the outside and inside featuring figures from the anime series "Demon Slayer". The first aircraft will enter commercial service on 14 July 2023, flying between Osaka-Itami and Fukuoka.
Boeing B777-300ER JA784A (37950) is set to receive a new Pokémon-themed livery, called the "Eevee Jet NH". The Triple Seven will also have Pokémon-details in the cabin and the jet will fly in this livery for at least the coming five years. Commercial flights will begin on 31 August 2023, initially flying between Tokyo-Haneda and London-Heathrow, New York-JFK (NY), and San Francisco (CA).
The four aircraft will join an already sizeable number of special liveries, of which we published a short overview earlier.
