American Airlines orders additional ERJ175s

Embraer and American Airlines signed a firm order for additional ERJ175s. In total, the US-airline ordered three more aircraft, which will be delivered later this year and operated by subsidiary Envoy Air.

With this latest order, Envoy Air will have a fleet of 101 ERJ175s, next to eight ERJ170s and 57 ERJ145s, that are all operated under the American Eagle-brand.
