ANA amends B777-9 order and firms up MAX-order

After its 11 July board meeting, All Nippon Airways announced it has decided to amend its order for 20 B777-9s and convert two aircraft into orders for the B777-8F. The new freighters are expected to be delivered in fiscal year 2028.

The airline has also firmed up its purchase agreement signed with Boeing on 29 January 2019 for the Boeing B737MAX. ANA now has firm orders for 20 B737-8s, with options on another ten aircraft. The first MAX8 is scheduled to arrive in 2025 and will be used to replace the B737-800s in the fleet, together with the A320neo/A321neos.

Today, ANA's fleet consists of eleven A320neos, four A321s, 22 A321neos, three A380s, 39 B737-800s, sixteen B767-300ERs, nine B767-300Fs, two B777-200s, eight B777-200ERs, four B777-300s, fifteen B777-300ERs, two B777Fs, 36 B787-8s, 39 B787-9s and two B787-10s.
