Atlas Air announces additional B777F-order

On 28 November 2023, Atlas Air Worldwide announced it has decided to order two more new B777Fs with Boeing. The duo is expected to be delivered in the second half of 2024.

With this order, Atlas Air brings it total newly ordered B777Fs with Boeing to six. Four of these are allocated to long-term wet-lease agreements for MSC Shipping.

Atlas Air Worldwide is the holding company for Atlas Air and Polar Air Cargo. In total, the group is operating a fleet of 103 aircraft, consisting of eight Boeing B737-800BCFs, five B747-400s, 39 B747-400(F)s, fourteen B747-8Fs, five B767-300ERs, 23 B767-300(F)s, and nine B777Fs.
