Atlas Air orders B777Fs

Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings has announced it has ordered four new B777Fs at Boeing. The first is to be delivered in 2022, the remaining three are planned for 2023.

The company has decided on the purchase to meet the rising demand for international widebody cargo capacity, especially for e-commerce and express markets.

Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings is the company owning Atlas Air and Polar Air Cargo and has just finished integrating Southern Air into the operations of Atlas Air. The Group has a fleet of 101 aircraft, consisting of eight B737-800BCFs (operated for Amazon), 44 B747-400Fs, ten B747-8Fs, four B767-300ERs, 26 B767-300Fs (operated for Amazon and DHL) and nine B777Fs.
