Avolon commits to more MAXs

Leasing company Avolon has announced on 27 April 2023 that it has committed itself to ordering additional Boeing B737MAXs. The lessor plans to order 40 B737MAXs, which are scheduled for delivery to Avolon's customers between 2027 and 2030.

Once firmed with Boeing, Avolon will have ordered a total of 140 MAXs directly with Boeing and, according to the company's press-release, will increase its total aircraft portfolio to 870 aircraft.
