Azerbaijan Airlines plans fleet renewal
CH-Aviation is reporting that Azerbaijan Airlines is planning a fleet renewal and plans to order new aircraft at both Airbus and Boeing. According to the article, the airline is set to order twenty A320neo-family aircraft and nine B787s.
The new aircraft should all be delivered by 2030 and will replace the Azerbaijan Airlines' current fleet of four A319s, seven A320s, two A340-500s, two B757-200s and two B767-300ERs.
The plan will now be submitted to the airline's board for approval, which is expected at the end of this year.
