Azul orders additional A330-900s
On 16 November, Airbus announced that Azul Linhas Aéreas has signed a firm order for additional A330-900s. In total, the Brazilian airline decided to sign-up for three more aircraft. No delivery timeline has so far been announced by the manufacturer or airline.
Today, Azul already operates five A330-900s, next to 36 ATR72s, 44 A320neos, six A321neos, seven A330-200s, two Boeing B737-400SFs, ten Embraer E195-E2s and 50 ERJ195s. The airline will also soon start flying its first A350-900 with three more to join.
