Bahrain buys nine Airbus H145 helicopters
As announced by Airbus Helicopters on 12 December 2024, the Minister of Interior of Bahrain, Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, has signed a contract for the purchase of nine H145 helicopters. These aircraft will be operated by the Police Aviation Command for law enforcement missions and emergency medical services in the kingdom.
The Bahrain Police Aviation Command will receive the latest Airbus H145 model, the five-bladed D3, currently the company’s best selling helicopter type. The five-bladed rotor of the D3 combines both an increase of 150 kg. useful load and a substantial decrease in acoustic footprint compared to the classic four-rotor H145D2 model.
It has not been revealed when the new Bahrain H145 will be delivered.
