BB-8 to be retired

If you still needed to spot All Nippon Airways' B777-300ER JA789A (40687), flying in a special Star Wars BB-8 themed livery, you need to be very quick as the airline has announced the aircraft is set to be retired on 31 March 2022.

To celebrate its retirement, the airline is organizing special farewell-flights on 31 March from Tokyo-Haneda to Okinawa-Naha and Sapporo. Tickets for these flights are on sale now but with Japan's borders still closed for foreign visitors due the pandemic, this might prove a challenge.
