Binter orders additional E195-E2s

On 2 December 2022, Embraer and Binter announced that both companies reached an agreement for an additional order for more E195-E2s. The Canary Island-based carrier has ordered five more aircraft, which are scheduled to be delivered in November 2023 and April 2024. Similar to its current fleet of Embraers, the new aircraft will be fitted with a 132-seat single class lay-out.

Today, Binter is operating a fleet of five ATR72-500s, 22 ATR72-600s and five E195-E2s. It mainly operates domestic flights out of the Canary Islands but also has a few international destinations in France, Italy, North Africa and Portugal.
