Boeing delays 1st B737-10 delivery to 2023

In its 2020 annual report, Boeing announced that it has delayed the delivery of a first B737-10 to 2023, which is a delay of two years to the programme. In the same report, the manufacturer also said it expects to deliver a first B737-7 later this year. The delay is the result of a combination of the, well known, issues with the MAX-programme, as well as the current crisis in the aviation world due to the Corona-pandemic.

The MAX10 was rolled-out on 22 November 2019, but hasn't flown for the first time. It's the largest variant of the MAX-family and will be able to carry up to 232 passengers over a distance of 6,110 km. It currently has a total of 483 firm orders, with United Airlines being the largest customers with 100 aircraft on order.
