Boeing sells more MAXs to 777 Partners
During the Farnborough Air Show on 19 July, Boeing and 777 Partners announced an order for up to 66 MAXs. In total, the order is comprised of a firm order for 30 B737-8200s and options on another 36 B737-8/8200s. With this latest order, the total ordered (including options) B737MAXs by 777 Partners is more than 130.
777 Partners is an US-based investment firm, which owns Canadian low-cost carrier Flair Airlines as well as Australian start-up Bonanza, which plans to launch flights later this year. The company is also busy with finalising plans to launch a third low-cost carrier but the details of this project have not been made public so far.
