Cargolux signs for at least 10 B777-8Fs

Cargolux has announced it has signed a firm order with Boeing for ten B777-8Fs. Next to this, the airline also took options on another six B777-8Fs.

The cargo carrier announced its selection for Boeing's newest freighter during the Farnborough Air Show of July this year. It didn't say back then, however, how many aircraft they were planning to order.

Cargolux will use the new B777-8Fs to replace its current fleet of fifteen B747-400Fs. Next to that, it also operates fourteen B747-8Fs.
