CDB Aviation orders more A330P2Fs, announces new customers
At the Singapore Air Show, leasing company CDB Aviation announced that it has ordered twelve additional A330-conversions with EFW. In total, the lessor now has ordered fourteen A330P2Fs, making it the largest customer for the converted freighters so far. The new additions will be converted at EFW's conversion lines at Dresden, Mobile (AL) and Shanghai, the latter two being two new sites for the conversion of A330s.
Next to the announcement of the expansion of its A330P2F-fleet, CDB Aviation also announced it secured customers for three of the twelve new A330P2Fs. Two A330-300P2Fs will be delivered to Sichuan Airlines. Deliveries will take place at the end of this year and early next year. The airline already operates three A330-200Fs.
The other new customer is also coming from China and is start-up Jiangxi Cargo Airlines, a joint-venture between the Jiangxi Provincial Government and the Hongyuan Group. The new airline will take delivery of an A330-300P2F early next year.
