Textron Aviation announced on 20 May 2024 that the Combi version of its Cessna 408 SkyCourier has gained FAA-type certification.

 

The Combi option allows for nine passengers and cargo at the same time, compared to nineteen passengers in full passenger loadout. A full cargo version with space for three LD3 cargo containers is also offered.

 

Deliveries of passenger aircraft with the Combi option are expected to commence later this year. So far, most of the deliveries have been cargo variants for FedEx and its affiliates.
