Daher delivers 500th TBM-900 series

Also at the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) 2023, Daher announced that it has delivered the 500th TBM-900 series aircraft. The TBM-960 was delivered to a US customer just ahead of the NBAA.

The TBM-900 was first introduced in 2014. The original TBM-700 first flew in 1988 and the upgraded TBM-850 conducted its first flight in 2005. 324 TBM-700 series were produced, along with 338 TBM-850 aircraft. The TBM-900 series has surpassed the amount of the previous variants in less than 10 years, so the TBM-900 series can be considered a resounding success for the manufacturer.

Since being unveiled in 2022, there have been 92 delivered of the TBM-960 with more than 100 aircraft still on order. This equates to a very health orderbook for Daher, who also have the Kodiak 100 and 900 in their portfolio. For the TBM, only the 910 and 960 remain in production. The 900, 930 and 940 are not in production anymore.
