DHL orders additional B777Fs, signs partnership with Singapore Airlines

On 8 March, DHL and Boeing announced that both companies agreed on an additional order for six B777Fs. In total, DHL has now placed orders for 28 B777Fs, of which it has taken delivery of fifteen so far. DHL hasn't communicated at which airlines it will place the new Triple Sevens.

One possibility could be Singapore Airlines as DHL and the airline announced on 10 March that they signed a partner-ship agreement in which Singapore Airlines will operate five B777Fs on behalf of DHL out of its Singapore-base to destinations in the US. The airline will also conduct the maintenance to the aircraft. The first two B777Fs will be delivered in July and October 2022, the remaining three in 2023.
