EgyptAir diversifies its fleet with the MAX8

EgyptAir has signed a lease-agreement with Air Lease Corporation for the Boeing B737MAX8. In total, the airline is set to lease eighteen B737-8s, which will be delivered in 2025 and 2026. The deal was announced on the first day of the Dubai Air Show 2023.

Today, EgyptAir is operating a fleet of twelve Airbus A220-300s, two A320s, eight A320neos, seven A321neos, three A330-200P2Fs, four A330-200s, four A330-300s, 29 B737-800s, six B777-300ERs, and seven B787-9s.
