EgyptAir takes delivery of 1st A321neo

On 27 February 2023, EgyptAir took delivery of its first Airbus A321neo at Hamburg-Finkenwerder. The aircraft, A321-200NX SU-GFR (11164) was flown to Cairo later the same day. It's the first of seven A321-200NXs the airline is leasing via AerCap. Commercial operations are scheduled to start on 1 April with a flight to Amsterdam.

The aircraft joins a fleet that consist of twelve Airbus A220-300s, two A320s, eight A320neos, two A330-200s, three A330-200P2Fs, four A330-300s, 28 Boeing B737-800s, one B737-800SF, and six B777-300ERs.
