Embraer announces order for E195-E2

During the presentation of its Q1-2021 results, Embraer announced it has logged an order for thirty E195-E2s from an undisclosed customer. The order was signed on 22 April and deliveries of the aircraft are scheduled to begin next year.

The order is only the second order the manufacturer received this year, the other being an order for two E195-E2s by Congo Airways. According to several sources, the unidentified customer is expected to be a lessor.
