Emirates again orders B777Fs
On 21 October 2024, Boeing and Emirates announced another order for the B777F. In total, the airline is again ordering five of them, same like they did in July 2024. The order was booked by Boeing in September under an undisclosed customer.
With this latest order, Emirates now has open orders with Boeing for fourteen B777Fs. All are scheduled to be delivered by the end of 2026.
The airline also said it will decide on an order for the next generation of freighters, the B777-8F and the Airbus A350F, before the end of this year.
