Emirates increases A350-order

During the Dubai Air Show 2023, Emirates reached an agreement with Airbus to increase its existing order for the A350. The airline has signed-up for fifteen additional A350-900s, taking the total number on order to 65. The first is expected to be delivered in 2024.

Before, and even during the show, there was talk that Emirates would also be ordering the A350-1000. However, the airline is still discussing this with the aircraft's engine manufacturer, Rolls-Royce, as it wants specific performance guarantees. For now, there's no deal reached.
