Emirates orders 95 Boeings

The 2023 Dubai Air Show has kicked-off in style with the home-carrier placing a large order for 95 additional Boeings. During a special signing ceremony on 13 November, the airline committed to 35 B777-8s and 55 B777-9s. It also added orders for five B787-10s, while converting its existing order for 30 B787-9s into 20 B787-9s and ten B787-10s.

With this latest order, Emirates has orders for a total of 205 B777Xs and 35 Dreamliners. It expects to take delivery of its first new generation Boeing widebody, a B777-9, in 2025.
