Emirates orders additional B777Fs

Emirates has announced on 8 November 2022 that it has decided to place an additional order at Boeing for five more B777Fs. Two of the new freighters are scheduled for delivery in 2024 and the remaining three in 2025.

The additional aircraft are part of the airline's plan to grow its cargo business, which was announced in November 2021 during the Dubai Air Show. Emirates then ordered two new B777Fs (both delivered this year) and four B777-300ER conversions into freighters with options on another six converted aircraft. Work on a first B777-300ER is due to start next year.

Today, the airline is operating a fleet of eleven B777Fs.
