Ethiopian Airlines orders additional B777Fs

Ethiopian Airlines has announced it has ordered additional current generation B777Fs with Boeing. The order, for five aircraft, has already been on the order book of Boeing but listed as "undisclosed". The five aircraft will be delivered this year and next year.

It's the second order for freighter-aircraft this year for the airline as it also announced a Memorandum of Understanding for five B777-8Fs in March 2022. So far, this order hasn't been finalized yet.

Ethiopian Airlines' cargo-fleet today consists of three B737-800SFs and nine B777Fs.
