EVA Air expands cargo-fleet
The board of directors of EVA Air has approved plans to expand the cargo-fleet of the airline from eight aircraft to twelve dedicated freighters by the end of 2025. To reach this, EVA will acquire one additional new B777F at Boeing, which is planned for delivery by the end of 2023. For the other three aircraft, the airline signed a deal with IAI for the conversion of three of its B777-300ERs into B777-300ERSFs, which should all be delivered by end 2025.
Today, EVA Air's cargo-fleet consists of eight B777Fs, the last of which was delivered in late December 2021. Its passenger-fleet is comprised of 22 A321s, three A330-200s, nine A330-300s, 34 B777-300ERs, four B787-9s and six B787-10s.
