Final Lufthansa A380-flight?

On 14 September, Lufthansa A380 D-AIMH (070) departed Frankfurt as DLH9921 at 09:30 for what could well be the final A380-flight for the airline. The A380 left its homebase to be stored at Teruel.

According to the airline's CEO, the A380 doesn't fit the airline future fleet plans anymore and are very unlikely to return to active duty in the future. In total, Lufthansa took delivery of fourteen A380s. Two are stored at Tarbes-Lourdes, while the rest are at Teruel.
