First MAX7 roll out after three years
Early May 2022, the first B737MAX7 to roll out from the assembly line after three years, was seen at the Boeing factory at Renton (WA).
The last one to roll out was line number 7570 (to become N7207Z, msn 42590, for Southwest Airlines), in May 2019. It actually made a first flight on 10 October of that same year.
Now, pretty much three years to the date, the first MAX7 to roll out of final assembly has appeared. It is line number 8285 and will become N7208U (msn 42614) for MAX7 launch customer Southwest Airlines.
The Texas-based low cost carrier has orders for a total of 349 MAXs, divided over 200 MAX7 and 149 MAX8, and 270 MAX options for either the MAX7 or MAX8.
