flynas boards approves massive expansion
The board of flynas has approved a massive expansion plan of the airline, which foresees the airline to increase its orders to 250 aircraft. As a result, flynas is now in final negotiations with Airbus about an increased order.
Today, flynas has open orders with Airbus for 66 A320neos and ten A321XLRs. It currently operates a fleet of fourteen A320s and 22 A320neos out of its bases at Jeddah and Riyadh.
With this expansion plan, flynas aims to become the largest low-cost carrier in the Middle-East region. Since it launched operations in 2007 it has carried over 55 million passengers to 70 domestic and international destinations.
