Griffin orders B737MAX

Lessor Griffin Global Asset Management, which is based in both Dublin and Los Angeles (CA), has signed a firm order with Boeing for five B737-8s. The order is the first direct order for new aircraft with Boeing.

The lessor has opted for the new jets as it sees big opportunities to lease the aircraft to its airline customers as the market recovers from the pandemic. It's currently unknown which airline(s) the aircraft will go to.
