Gum Air orders Cessna 408 SkyCourier

According to Gum Air's Facebook-page, the company has ordered one Cessna 408 SkyCourier via Tropical Aviation Distributors, the official Cessna-Textron sales representative for the Caribbean and Latin America. The cargo aircraft is set to be delivered in 2023 and will be used by the airline to expand its business in the oil and gas industry.

Gum Air, which plans to relocate from Paramaribo-Zorg en Hoop to Paramaribo-Heliport which is getting a single runway. The company's fleet currently consists of four Cessna 206s, five Cessna 208Bs and two DHC-6s.
