HiFly to retire their A380

HiFly has announced that it will retire their sole A380, 9H-MIP, at the end of this year. Due to the Corona-pandemic the need for ACMI-operations is much lower, so also for the A380. As the lease-contract is set to expire at December, HiFly has decided not to extend the lease.

The ACMI-specialist took delivery of the giant aircraft on 4 July 2018. It's painted in a special "save the coral reefs"-livery. Originally, this A380 was delivered to Singapore Airlines as 9V-SKC on 11 March 2008.
