JD Airlines signs for more B737-800Fs
Leasing company AerCap has announced it has signed a lease-agreement with JD Airlines for additional Boeing B737-800BCFs. In total, the Chinese airline will be expanding the fleet with four more aircraft, which are all scheduled to be delivered this year.
JD Airlines was established in 2021 and launched flights in 2022. It is the airfreight arm of e-commerce giant JD.com. Today, it's fleet is made-up of seven B737-800BCFs.
The airline calls Nantong its home and is flying both domestically and internationally.
