JetBlue orders additional A220s

At the Singapore Air Show, Airbus has announced that JetBlue has ordered 30 additional A220-300s. With this latest order, the US airline has now placed firm orders for 100 A220-300s. In total, the manufacturer has now logged 740 firm orders for the A220.

JetBlue launched its A220-operations in April last year and currently operates eight of the type. The airline is very happy with the performance and has increased the order to accelerate the retirement of its 60 ERJ190s in the fleet.
