A320 Jetlines 640Jetlines suspends operations

On 15 August 2024, Jetlines announced it has suspended operations and will file for bankruptcy protection. The airline has been experiencing financial difficulties and recently saw the majority of its board resign. If the bankruptcy protection is approved, it will use it to secure funding to restart operations.

Jetlines launched operations in September 2022 and had a fleet of four Airbus A320s. It called Toronto-Lester B. Pearson its main base and operated charter and scheduled flights.

All four A320s were currently wet-leased to other operators. C-GCJK (5995) and C-GCJL (4175) were operated for Air Arabia Maroc and are now parked at, respectively, Fez and Oudja.

C-GJLH (3460) and C-GJLQ (5661) were wet-leased to Corendon Dutch Airlines and are now parked at Amsterdam and Maastricht.
