JOTA Aviation ceases operations

JOTA Aviation, Europe's last commercial operator of the BAe146/Avroliner has ceased all operations and is set to enter into administration in the coming weeks. It's final three aircraft have all been put into storage.

BAe146-300QT G-JOTF (E3186) has already been parked at Cranfield since 11 February 2022 and was joined by RJ85 G-JOTR (E2294) on 17 March and RJ100 G-JOTS (E3355) on 11 April.

The company was founded in 2009 to cater for the transport needs of racing teams but evolved into a full charter company, offering cargo and passenger charter flights. JOTA Aviation was based at Southend. Over the years, it operated seven BAe146/RJs and a Beech 90.
