"Just a nice picture..."

On 15 April, IAI participated in the national flypast to celebrate the 73rd Independence Day of Israel with the prototype of the B777-300ERSF and a Gulfstream 280.

IAI has teamed-up with lessor GECAS to establish a B777-300ER passenger-to-freighter conversion programme, dubbing the aircraft "The Big Twin". The first aircraft and prototype is currently registered as N557CC (32789) and was previously operated by Emirates as A6-EBB. IAI and GECAS hope to reach certification of the B777-300ERSF by 2023. Launch customer is Kalitta, which has signed up for three B777-300ERSF in October 2020.

The G280 is being produced by IAI for Gulfstream Aerospace and so far around 200 have been built. The G280 is the successor of the G200 and was launched in 2008.
