KLM to park 12 airplanes at Groningen Airport Eelde

KLM has decided to park twelve aircraft at Groningen Airport Eelde (The Netherlands) as they are not needed due to the low demand. The aircraft involved are two A330s and ten B737s. Around lunchtime of 28 October, the first two planes were ferried from Amsterdam, A330-200 PH-AOE and B737-800 PH-BGC.

The airline picked Groningen Airport Eelde as it creates more space at Amsterdam and the northern airport has a more friendly parking rate.
