LATAM orders additional Dreamliners

On 20 December 2023, LATAM Airlines announced it has ordered five additional B787s with Boeing. With this latest order and additional lease-agreements in place, the fleet of Dreamliners is to grow to 46 in the coming years.

Currently, LATAM Airlines is operating ten B787-8s, and 23 B787-9s. Apart from one, that's operated by LATAM Brasil, all the B787s are part of LATAM Chile.

Next to its B787s, LATAM Airlines has a fleet of 40 Airbus A319s, 135 A320s, 23 A320neos, 49 A321s, seven A321neos, eleven B767-300ERs, 20 B767-300ERFs, and ten B777-300ERs.
