LATAM to add up to 8 B767-300ERBCFs

LATAM has announced it has reached an agreement with Boeing to convert four B767-300ERs into BCFs. The four are expected to arrive this year and next year and will bring the total number of B767-freighters to fifteen. The airline also has an option on another four conversion slots, which could be realized in 2022 and 2023, taking the fleet to nineteen B767-freighters.

LATAM has decided to convert the aircraft due to the surge in demand for air cargo and will provide the airline the tools to grow its business.
